On Saturday, 26 September, Europa Silvella will host a day dedicated to everyone who loves sharing their holiday with their four-legged companion.
Our first Dog Days are coming: a day full of activities, games and special moments to enjoy with your dog, organised with the participation of the dog trainers from Arilica Dogs ASD.
Agility, water activities, games and a treasure hunt around the campsite: it will be an opportunity to have fun together, get to know your dog better and learn something new along the way.
To make sure every participant receives the right attention, we are keeping the group small: only 20 places are available.
We will meet at around 9:45 am for an introduction to Agility.
Dogs and their owners will have the chance to discover the equipment together and try some simple exercises, always accompanied by the dog trainers and instructors from Arilica Dogs ASD.
No previous experience is needed: the aim is simply to play, try something new and have fun together.
At around 11:30 am, we will head to the lakeside for one of the day's most special activities: an introduction to water activities for dogs.
Together with a dog trainer experienced in water activities, participants will be able to gradually introduce their dogs to the lake through play, interaction and a gentle approach.
The activity will take place in a controlled environment and in small groups, with only a few dogs entering the water at the same time and under the supervision of the dog trainers.
It's a different way to enjoy Lake Garda with your dog and, above all, to help them become comfortable with the water at their own pace.
The water activity is subject to authorisation by the relevant authorities.
In the afternoon, at around 2:30 pm, we will slow things down with an activity dedicated to the relationship and communication between you and your dog.
Together with the dog trainers, we will discover mindful petting, an activity designed to help owners better understand their dog's body language and the importance of touch.
Petting a dog may seem like the most natural thing in the world, but learning to observe their reactions and recognise what they communicate through their body can help create a more respectful and conscious interaction.
A simple and interesting activity to get to know your four-legged companion even better.
At around 3:45 pm, it will be time to explore Europa Silvella together.
Dogs and owners will take part in a treasure hunt around the campsite, following clues and completing the different stages of the route together.
At the end, we will meet for prizes and farewells to bring our Dog Day to a close.
This will be Europa Silvella's first Dog Days event, and participation in all activities is free of charge for campsite guests.
To allow the trainers to give each dog and owner the attention they deserve, participation is limited to a maximum of 20 registered participants with their dogs.
