A real commitment to the environment

At Camping Europa Silvella, sustainability means real action.
Not slogans, but everyday choices guided by respect for the land that hosts us and responsibility towards future generations.

We are a family that grew up here, on the shores of Lake Garda.
For us, running a business means looking beyond the present and taking care of something that belongs to everyone.

We know we are on a journey.
Sustainability is a process made of continuous growth, reflection and gradual improvement. There is still much more we want to do — and we will, step by step.

We do this with humility and passion, hoping that our example can inspire others.

Solar energy for a cleaner tomorrow
Reducing our environmental impact also means rethinking how we produce energy.
Continue

In recent years, we have made significant investments to lower our energy footprint.
Today, two photovoltaic systems generate clean, renewable energy for Camping Europa Silvella.

Around 500 solar panels installed on 1,000 square meters of rooftops allow us to produce approximately 200,000 kWh of green electricity every year.
This covers about one third of our annual energy needs, with a total installed power of 210 kWp.

The result is tangible: around 60,000 kg of CO₂ saved every year.

And this is just the beginning.
Our goal is to further increase self-produced energy and reduce our environmental impact even more.

Less consumption, same comfort
The comfort you look for, with energy we respect.
Continue

We are gradually replacing older structures with next-generation mobile homes: modern, well insulated and energy-efficient.
Less heat loss, the same level of comfort, and lower energy consumption.

All outdoor lighting is now high-performance LED, managed by an intelligent system that adjusts brightness and timing according to real needs.

In our sanitary facilities, heat recovery systems reuse energy from outgoing hot water to preheat incoming water.
High-efficiency heat pumps provide hot water using only a fraction of the energy required by traditional systems.

Each solution works together to create an efficient system where technology and sustainability meet.

Sleep better, live better, leave a lighter footprint: this is how we understand modern hospitality.

Moving more sustainably
From our team to your Lake Garda trips: mobility that respects the environment

Reducing emissions, lowering noise and improving air quality also means rethinking how we move.

Inside the campsite, we prioritize electric mobility:
golf carts for cleaning and maintenance, electric scooters for quick movements, and a dedicated electric cart for our reception team. Most of our operational transport is already zero-emission.

We have also reorganized our waste collection system to optimize routes and reduce consumption.

Six electric charging stations are available: four for guests, one for staff and one for company vehicles.
If you travel by electric car, you can easily recharge during your stay.

Would you like to explore Lake Garda at a slower pace?
You can rent traditional bikes, e-bikes, electric scooters and even an electric scooter. We also provide a multi-point charging station for e-bikes.

What’s next?
In 2026, we will replace our service van with a 100% electric vehicle. Small steps, big changes.

Reducing plastic, one step at a time
More than 5 tons of CO₂ saved every year thanks to three simple daily actions
Continue

Our microfiltered water station provides fresh still or sparkling water directly from the local network.
Every year, this allows us to avoid around 40,000 plastic bottles, saving 840 kg of plastic and almost 4 tons of CO₂.

In all 150 accommodations, refillable dispensers replace single-use kits.
This choice eliminates up to 300 kg of plastic per year and reduces emissions by about 1.5 tons of CO₂.

At the bar, we use only compostable tableware made from corn starch: practical and environmentally friendly.

Microfiltered water, refillable dispensers, compostable tableware:
three simple actions, one measurable impact on the environment.

Easy, clear and shared waste sorting
Smart waste management that involves guests and reduces the campsite’s environmental impact

Sustainability also comes from small everyday gestures.
That’s why in every mobile home you’ll find dedicated bags for waste separation, making recycling easy from the very first day.

Throughout the campsite, clearly marked recycling stations help everyone make the right choice.
This improves recycling quality, reduces mistakes and gives materials a second life.

We also choose digital communication to minimize paper use.
Information, services and updates are delivered directly to your device.

Separating waste is the first step towards a more sustainable future — and you are part of it.

Truly green holidays
Helping you explore the area in a sustainable way: e-bikes, trekking and walks
Continue

For us at Camping Europa Silvella, sustainability starts with living this territory every day.
We grew up among trails, bicycles and open air — and this is what we love to share with you.

We have created detailed maps together with local guides, selecting cycling routes, scenic hikes and family-friendly walks that often start directly from the campsite.
Our staff is happy to suggest the best itinerary based on your pace, the weather and whether you are travelling with children.

Rent a bike or an e-bike and discover Lake Garda without rushing.
Yoga sessions and outdoor activities inside the campsite complete the experience.

Slow down. Breathe. Move.
Here, nature is part of the journey.

Local sustainability
Working with local producers for authentic and sustainable hospitality
Continue

For us, sustainability means staying true to our roots.
Our family has produced DOP extra virgin olive oil for generations and is among the founding members of the San Felice del Benaco agricultural cooperative.

We work with local suppliers: wineries, small producers and farms that share our attention to quality and the environment.
Fewer transports, fewer emissions, more authenticity.

The products we offer tell the story of Lake Garda and the people who cultivate it.
Supporting local businesses helps preserve landscapes and traditions of a place that is our home, not just a holiday destination.

Water is life. And we protect it.
From rainwater recovery to sustainable irrigation
Continue

With climate change and irregular rainfall, managing water wisely is no longer a choice — it is a responsibility.

Our new sanitary facilities are equipped with low-consumption taps that reduce water use by up to 50% while maintaining the same comfort.
Modern dual-flush toilets ensure the same level of efficiency.

Next step?
Collecting rainwater in dedicated tanks to reuse it for irrigation.

Designing green spaces
Climate-friendly plants, optimized soil and sustainable maintenance
Continue

Taking care of green areas is not just about saving water.
It starts with thoughtful design: we carefully select plants that require little water and are perfectly suited to the Lake Garda climate.

We improve the soil to naturally retain moisture and support plant health.

Every year, a specialized agronomist analyses the condition of each tree and plant, performs stability tests and plans targeted care and protection.

All our gardening equipment is battery-powered.
No emissions, no noise — just greenery breathing and the sounds of nature around you.

Learning by playing, growing with respect
Creative workshops, educational gardens and a new way to experience nature
Continue

Respecting the environment makes your stay more authentic and enriching.
That’s why we involve both adults and children through simple actions and direct contact with nature.

Mini Club workshops use only recycled materials: caps, rolls, boxes and leaves become creative tools.
Guests can leave recyclable items that are reused for children’s activities.

In the educational garden, children plant, water and follow the growth of plants, learning natural cycles and responsibility.
The Bug Hotel in the playground hosts pollinating insects, with multilingual panels explaining their importance for biodiversity.

Caring for the environment means learning to live with nature — starting from childhood.
