New regional ordinance: It is no longer mandatory to wear masks outside
Encouraging signals are coming from Lombardy. The tourist season on the western shore of Lake Garda has finally restarted and data on the trend of the epidemic are more positive. In fact, the numbers of infections are constantly decreasing and every week the measures are less and less stringent.
Starting from today, July, 15th a new ordinance has passed. The new ordinance ends the obligation to wear a mask in open spaces if it is possible to maintain the interpersonal safety distance, which must be at least 1 meter. However, the use of the mask is still mandatory in enclosed public spaces and on means of transport. The new ordinance of the Region finally makes it possible to practice team sports with physical contact; green light, therefore, for classic beach volleyball matches on the beach and soccer tournaments.
