It's true, camping means simplicity and contact with nature.

But it is also about comfort, functionality and beauty: today's campers do not give up any of these aspects and set up a real open-air home on their pitch. Let's take a look at some of the features you can't miss for your camping holiday!

Each pitch is a world apart: tents of different sizes, verandas with tables, chairs, and household appliances... but what you absolutely must have, according with our experience, is a comfortable deckchair right outside the tent, on which to enjoy your first cup of coffee in the morning sun... good morning!

After coffee, we start to organise breakfast, heading for the bar or the minimarket to buy the freshest products. From our reception, we like to see this silent dance: some go and some come back with a baguette or a bag of baked croissants. And then everyone sits down around the table, to begin a wonderful day's holiday with the whole family.

Campsites are often large, and many guests like to use bicycles and scooters to get from one part of the area to another. In just a short ride, you can reach a new beach, the nearest market and enjoy discovering the hillside and waterside paths. The bicycle is a sustainable vehicle that allows freedom of movement, which is why it is now a very popular choice, even among lazy campers!

Comfort, yes, but please the eye, too: today's campers are not fully satisfied with just functional furniture, but they like creating their own ideal pitch. Some campers are equipped with the latest generation of hammocks, others with design lounges, TVs, consoles and fully equipped kitchens. The pitch thus becomes an extension of your home, a private space that you can share with others.

Swimwear and comfortable clothing to keep fit! Our guests know that at Europa Silvella there is never a boring moment and our entertainers are true experts in well-being. We start with muscle toning and stay active all day, until group dances in the evening. Tennis tournaments, beach volleyball, yoga, work-outs, water games and amateur marathons... Today's campers love outdoor life and don't forget to bring a pair of comfortable shoes and the latest technical sports outfit.

There is one thing that all campers in the world have in common, and which has been a must on our guests' pitches for as long as we remember: barbecue. It's a symbol of outdoor life and sharing, of new friendships and laughter under the stars. It's lovely for us to see, around 6.30 pm, when the swimming pools are closed, guests on their pitches working on embers for dinner, shared with their new tent neighbors.

In the evening magic begins. Walking through the streets of the campsite in the evening, just before the last light of dusk falls, you can feel that the atmosphere slowly changes. From the enthusiasm and laughter of the afternoon, the rhythm becomes slower, and each pitch turns on its own light: many tents are decorated with white and coloured lights, spotlights and lanterns that create fairy-tale shadows. We, members of staff, like walking around at this time and hearing our guests busy cooking, relaxing and chatting with new friends.

A child-friendly campsite. We've already said it, the little ones are the real stars of the holiday! There are plenty of entertainment activities for our guests' children, from morning games to the baby dance before going to bed. Children love to run and play in the open air and in safety, and today they continue to have fun even when the tent door is closed: more and more often we can observe on the pitches real worlds built on a child's dimension, tents that remind us of American Indians, inflatable games, animal-shaped lanterns, carpets and poufs to be ready to play at any time. Camping is a truly magical experience even for the youngest children!
