Grotte di Catullo

The ruins of this Roman Villa, which appears to have belonged to the Latin poet Catullus, is right on the northern tip of the Sirmione peninsula. The tour will pass through the ruins of the columns, the small archaeological museum and a flourishing Mediterranean park with broom shrubs and olive trees. Stop and take a short rest on the grass at the viewpoint, a magical spot.
